Aggie guard J.C. Hampton is on a hot streak. After making only 4 of 15 shots in a four-game stretch, Hampton lost his starting job to Chris Collins. In the four games before he returned to the starting lineup Saturday, he hit 17 of 28 shots, including 8 of 13 from 3-point range.

SAN DIEGO — The 10th-ranked Texas A&M men’s tennis team opened its spring season with eight victories at the Morgan Run Club and Resort tennis facility, with Aggies notching wins over representatives from No. 14 Notre Dame, No. 15 California and host No. 32 San Diego.

The 10th-ranked Texas A&M men’s tennis team will open the spring season in San Diego at the Morgan Run Tournament beginning Friday in Rancho Santa Fe, California. The Aggies will compete against 14th-ranked Notre Dame, 15th-ranked Cal and San Diego.
