WACO — Lisa Branch, Texas A&M women’s basketball’s first All-American, will be one of nine members inducted into the Southwest Conference Hall of Fame class of 2019, the Texas Sports Hall of Fame announced Monday.

Branch led the program to its first two NCAA appearances, the 1994 Sweet 16, the 1995 NWIT title and the 1996 SWC tournament title. She held school records in points (1,939), assists (795) and steals (309) at the end of her career, earning UPI second-team All-America honors in 1996.
