SEC Equestrian Championship

The Texas A&M equestrian team is ranked second in the National Collegiate Equestrian Association’s preseason poll released Wednesday.

Two-time defending national champion Auburn is No. 1 with Georgia third, Oklahoma State fourth and SMU fifth.

A&M will host its Maroon & White Scrimmage on Sept. 27 at the Hildebrand Equine Complex. The Aggies will open the regular season against TCU on Oct. 4 in Fresno, California, followed by a match against Fresno State on Oct. 5.
