Texas A&M record-setting senior punter Braden Mann was named to the Sporting News preseason All-American team Wednesday. Mann, a unanimous All-American last season, averaged 51 yards per punt.

The Southeastern Conference placed Alabama wide receiver Jerry Jeudy and linebacker Dylan Moses, Vanderbilt tight end Jared Pinkney, Georgia offensive tackle Andrew Thomas, Auburn defensive lineman Derrick Brown, LSU safety Grant Delpit and Florida cornerback CJ Henderson on the first team. Alabama quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, defensive lineman Raekwon Davis, linebacker Anfernee Jennings and safety Xavier McKinney made the second team along with Georgia running back D’Andre Swift, Missouri tight end Albert Okwuegbunam, Kentucky guard Logan Stenberg and Auburn defensive lineman Nick Coe.
