Amber Park Texas Amateur

Texas A&M sophomore Amber Park hits a shot during the final of the Texas Women's Amateur Championship on July 20, 2018. Park won the event with a 4-and-3 victory over Julia Gregg in the championship match.

The Texas A&M women’s golf team will compete in the Dr. Donnis Thompson Invitational on Tuesday and Wednesday at the Kane’ohe Klipper Golf Course. The tournament begins with a 1 p.m. shotgun start Tuesday, followed by 36 holes of play. A&M last won a team title at the 54-hole tournament in 2017 and also had an individual medalist that year.

The entire Aggie squad made the trip to Hawaii. Brooke Tyree, Amber Park, Katie Finley, Courtney Dow and Ava Schwienteck will represent A&M, and Elizabeth Caldarelli, Chloe Velasco and Ariana Saenz are competing as individuals.
