Ag Soccer vs Brown

Texas A&M’s Katie Smith heads the ball between Brown defenders Maesay G’Bye, left, and Zoey Maxwell during the first half of a nonconference match Sunday night at Ellis Field. The Aggies played Brown to a 0-0 draw.

The 12th-ranked Texas A&M women’s soccer team will face No. 10 BYU at 8 p.m. Thursday at South Field in Provo, Utah. The match will be broadcast live on KAGC (97.3 FM).

A&M (4-0-2) beat Ohio State 1-0 on Friday and played Brown to a 0-0 tie on Sunday.

A&M is on a streak of five straight shutouts, its second-longest streak in school history. A&M’s record is seven set from Sept. 2-23 in 2012 as former Aggie goalkeeper Jordan Day tied the Southeastern Conference record for consecutive shutouts. A&M also had five straight shutouts from Aug. 28-Sept. 16 in 2016.

BYU (4-0) shut out Utah 2-0 at home Friday.
