Texas A&M rising sophomore Shaine Casas placed second in the 200-meter individual medley on the last day of the Phillips 66 National Championships on Sunday at Stanford’s Avery Aquatic Center. It was Casas’ second silver of the meet.

He touched in with a school-record time of 1:58.83, just over a second behind first-place finisher Ryan Lochte (1:57.76).
