Aggie Park update

The upgraded Aggie Park will include Wi-Fi, a small lake and an outdoor amphitheater, according to a university press release. Redevelopment will be completed in spring 2022.

New developments: Aggie Park on the Texas A&M campus is being redeveloped to include a small lake, tributes to alumni and university leaders, a new building and more. A groundbreaking will be Saturday morning at the park. The redevelopment will be completed in spring 2022.

Basketball postseason: Robert Cessna writes that the men's basketball team has an outside chance at making the NIT. On the women's side, ESPN’s Charlie Crème projects A&M to be a four seed for the NCAA tournament, which means the Aggies would host first- and second-round games.

New hire: A&M has hired LSU running backs coach Tommie Robinson. Robinson, who had been at LSU since 2017, replaces co-offensive coordinator/running backs coach Jay Graham, who left for Tennessee.

Baseball honors: A&M baseball’s Bryce Blaum earned SEC co-player of the week honors, the league announced Monday.
