Alcohol at Kyle: Texas A&M has approved the sale of beer and wine to the general public at football games at Kyle Field this fall, according to a release by the athletic department.
Investigation: The Associated Press reports that the U.S. Education Department has opened investigations into foreign funding at A&M and Georgetown University as part of a push to monitor international money going to American colleges. A university spokesperson said administrators are cooperating with the inquiry.
Summer camp: High school students at this week’s Texas A&M Geosciences Camp get to explore the majors within the College of Geosciences, including atmospheric sciences, geography, geology and geophysics, oceanography, environmental science, water management and hydrological science and geobusiness.
Additional counts: A former university employee who was arrested last month after a video camera was found inside a women's restroom on campus has been charged with four additional counts of improper photography or video in a bathroom or dressing room.
