Bush stamp dedication ceremony

The commemorative Forever Stamp featuring former President George H.W. Bush is revealed during a dedication ceremony Wednesday at the Annenberg Presidential Conference Center.

Stamp debut: The United States Postal Service’s Forever stamp honoring former President George H.W. Bush was unveiled Wednesday at the Annenberg Presidential Conference Center. Bush, who died Nov. 30, would have turned 95 Wednesday. The George H.W. Bush Presidential Library and Museum hosted a birthday celebration for the late president and his wife, former first lady Barbara Bush. 

Baseball honors: A&M pitchers John Doxakis and Asa Lacy made the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association’s All-America Team, the NCBWA announced Wednesday. Doxakis made the second team and Lacy the third team.

Philosophy camp: Texas A&M's Philosophy for Children summer camp incorporates themes from the Harry Potter book series, including the ideas of good and evil, race, destiny, freedom, prophecy, friendship, love and censorship.
