COVID-19 update: Texas A&M University confirmed Thursday that one of four cases of COVID-19 confirmed in Brazos County is an A&M student, a woman in her 20s who recently traveled to New York. She does not live on campus and has not visited campus since returning from her travels, according to the university.

Sports fallout: A&M sports psychologist Ryan Pittsinger discussed the emotions that occur for student-athletes whose seasons suddenly ended because of coronavirus concerns: "For some student-athletes, they played their last collegiate game and maybe last competitive game ever, and they had no idea.”

Basketball honors: A&M junior guard Chennedy Carter earned second-team honors on the Associated Press women’s basketball All-American team Thursday.
