Student Bonfire

As attendees waited for the ceremonial lighting of the stack that would pump up the crowd for Saturday’s game against LSU, this year’s keynote Student Bonfire speaker, former 12th Man Kickoff Team member Warren Barhorst, Class of ’88, shared the story of his time playing football for A&M.

Student Bonfire: Thousands of Texas A&M students, Aggie alumni and fans watched Student Bonfire 2019 light up the sky Tuesday night in a north Brazos County pasture. Former 12th Man Kickoff Team member Warren Barhorst, Class of ’88, was this year’s keynote speaker.

LSU matchup: Junior wide receiver Jhamon Ausbon played a limited role in A&M's victory over LSU last year, but he is expected to be a larger factor this time as he leads A&M with 63 receptions for 840 yards and four touchdowns.

Soccer honors: A&M senior forward Ally Watt is one of 15 semifinalists for the MAC Hermann Trophy, the United Soccer Coaches announced Tuesday. Watt was named the Southeastern Conference’s forward of the year, leading the SEC with 16 goals and 39 points.
