'The 13th Man' documentary

Documentary opens: The 13th Man, a documentary that chronicles the Bonfire collapse on Nov. 18, 1999, opened Thursday night at Premiere Cinema in Bryan.

New book: Journalist and author Loren Steffy’s latest book explores the life of the late George Mitchell — an Aggie known for his contributions to Texas A&M and recognized around the world for leading the way in the development of hydraulic fracturing.

Exhibition game: Aggie guard Chennedy Carter scored a game-high 34 points in a 93-63 exhibition loss to the USA women’s basketball team Thursday at Reed Arena.
