BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — The Texas A&M women’s track and field team finished 10th and the Aggie men finished 11th at the NCAA indoor meet Saturday.

Both Aggie squads took second in the 4x400-meter relays.

A&M’s Julia Madubuike (53.53), Tierra Robinson-Jones (51.92), Jaevin Reed (52.94) and Syaira Richardson (52.46) finished in 3 minutes, 30.85 seconds, just behind South Carolina (3:30.76) in the women’s 4x400.

In the men’s 4x400, A&M’s Ilolo Izu (46.95), Kyree Johnson (46.13), DeWitt Thomas (46.82) and Devin Dixon (45.25) finished in 3:05.15 behind Houston’s winning mark of 3:05.04.

Arkansas won the women’s team title with 62 points followed by Southern California (51), Oregon (32), Ohio State (28) and New Mexico (23). A&M had 17 points.

Florida won the men’s title with 55 points followed by Houston (44), LSU (31), Stanford (30) and Wisconsin (30). The Aggies had 19 points and finished out of the Top 10 for the first time since 2007.
