The Texas A&M University Corps of Cadets are set to reactivate two units Friday, making room for increased membership in the new school year.

The returning units will be Squadron 5 and Company G-1, best known as the "Filthy Fifth" and the "Ramblin' Rogues," respectively.

They will be formally reactivated at a 10 a.m. ceremony at the Sanders Corps of Cadets Center, featuring commandant Brig. Gen. Joe Ramirez, the units' new commanding officers as well as former members of the units. A formal reception will follow the event.

The units are the 10th and the 11th outfits to be reactivated by the Corps of Cadets in the past five years.
