This year’s number is an 80-student dip from last summer’s total of 24,394 students.

Texas A&M University’s summer courses have brought in 24,314 students, which is 175 students shy of the all-time summer record of 24,489 students in 2017. This year’s number is an 80-student dip from last summer’s total of 24,394 students. 

This summer’s sessions include 3,749 master’s degree students, a rise of 52 students from summer 2018. There are 15,975 enrolled undergraduates. In 2018, 16,102 undergraduates took courses.

The College Station flagship campus brought in 21,518 of the summer 2019 students. The Health Science Center has 1,860 students, compared to 1,796 last year. The Qatar campus increased from 259 to 270. At A&M Galveston, 666 students have enrolled this summer, a 69-person drop from last summer’s total of 735.

In 2014, total enrollment reached 19,720 students; in 2009, it was 17,898.

The second summer term began July 2. Summer commencement ceremonies are scheduled for Aug. 9 and 10. Fall classes begin at Texas A&M on

Aug. 26.
