Curtis Dickey

Dec. 20, 1978: A&M defeated Iowa State 28-12 in the Hall of Fame Bowl at Legion Field in Birmingham, Alabama. A&M halfback Curtis Dickey ran for 276 yards and a touchdown on 34 carries.
 
Dec. 20, 1976: Former Texas A&M offensive lineman Rex Tucker was born. Tucker played for the Aggies from 1995 to 1998. He was a member of the Big 12 championship team in 1998 that went 11-3 under R.C. Slocum. Tucker was drafted in the third round (66th overall) by the Chicago Bears in the 1999 NFL draft. He played seven seasons at guard with the Bears, St. Louis Rams and Detroit Lions.
