Feb. 5, 1918: British convoy troop ship the Tuscania was sunk by German submarines. Norman G. Crocker, A&M class of 1917, was among 100 men who died. He was the first known Aggie to die in World War I. A dorm, demolished in 2011, was named in his honor.

Feb. 5, 2007: Acie Law IV tied the A&M record for assists during a game with 15 against Texas. He had 14 assists in a 2005 game against Missouri.
