Acie Law after "The Shot"

June 28, 2007: Texas A&M point guard Acie Law IV was selected 11th overall by the Atlanta Hawks, the highest spot for an Aggie in the NBA draft.

As a senior, Law averaged 18.1 points, 3.3 rebounds and 5 assists per game while shooting 50 percent from the field and 46 percent from 3-point range.

Law played four seasons in the NBA with the Hawks, Golden State Warriors, Charlotte Bobcats, Chicago Bulls and Memphis Grizzlies. Law continued to play overseas, where he won Euroleague championships in 2012 and 2013 with Olympicos.

June 28, 2005: Texas A&M swingman Antoine Wright was selected 15th overall in the NBA draft by the New Jersey Nets. At the time, it was the highest draft spot for an Aggie.

As a freshman, Wright won the Big 12's freshman of the year, averaging 14.5 points and 6.6 rebounds.

Wright averaged 17.8 points and 6 rebounds his junior season and helped A&M earn an NIT bid.

June 28, 2012: The Detroit Pistons selected A&M wing Khris Middleton with the 39th overall pick in the NBA draft.

Middleton played three seasons at A&M, averaging more than 13 points and 5 rebounds in his final two seasons. 

With the Milwaukee Bucks, Middleton earned a spot on the All-Star team in 2019 and 2020.
