Reville and Handler

Kreider stepped in front of the player and was able to block him from making contact with the Aggie mascot.

The video clip quickly went viral, and Kreider and Reveille made numerous media appearances. Corps of Cadets Commandant Brig. Gen. Joe Ramirez said he would pay for Kreider's senior boots.

"He did exactly what our handler is supposed to do, and that's care for our mascot," Ramirez said. "All of us are extremely proud of Ryan and what he did for our mascot on Saturday and couldn't be prouder of what he did and what he stands for. He exemplifies the very best of what Aggies are all about."
