Texas A&M, led by fullback Jack Mahan, defeated Daniel Baker College 110-0 in the most lopsided contest in school history. The starters scored 35 unanswered points in the first quarter. The second team added 34 points in the second quarter. Heine Weir and company helped A&M to a 3-0 win over SMU. Bugs Morris kicked the winning field goal. Against LSU, A&M missed two late field goals and had to settle for a scoreless tie. In a 47-0 win over Phillips, Mahan was dominant, scoring six of the team's seven rushing touchdowns. After a shutout win over Oklahoma A&M, the Aggies continued their midseason run with a 24-0 win over Baylor. Morris kicked a 35-yard field goal and Grady Higginbotham threw a touchdown to Mahan in the win. Following a 7-0 win over Rice, the Aggies took on Texas for the conference crown. Defensive captain Jonnie Pierce was injured on the opening kickoff. The Aggies gave up their first points in two seasons in a 7-3 loss to Texas that gave the Horns the SWC championship. A&M finished the season 6-1-1, having outscored their opponents 290-7.
