A few shows of note this weekend. On Friday, Austin quartet Wiretree comes to Grand Stafford Theater in Downtown Bryan. The band's latest album is Towards the Sky, released in April. Check out the video for Another Time (above).

There has been an abundance of local charity efforts for Hurricane Harvey relief, and the music community is part of that as well. On Sunday, a benefit show is at Grand Stafford Theater, with The Ex-Optimists, Mutant Love, Electric Astronaut and LUCA.
A $5 donation is requested for admission. Proceeds will go to the Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund.

Cody Johnson was among the heavy hitters at this year's Chilifest, and he returns for the Back to School Aggie Bash at Wolf Pen Creek Amphitheater. Roger Creager and Koe Wetzel are on the bill as well. Proceeds will benefit Hurricane Harvey relief efforts.
