Austin native Kyle Park returns for a show at Hurricane Harry's tonight. He released the single Don't Forget Where You Come From earlier this year, and reports on Twitter that his new album is close to being complete.
Fans might also recall that Park was included briefly in a bonkers animated clip about Johnny Manziel's adventures in 2013, made by Taiwan's Next Media Animation.
Opening the show will be The Powell Brothers from Houston, who released an EP earlier in the year called Introducing ... The Powell Brothers. Check out their clip for Evangeline:
Sunday's hurricane benefit concert at the Lakeside Icehouse at Lake Bryan is part of the statewide Texas Music Flood series. The show includes performances by John Evans, Great American Boxcar Chorus, The Docs, Britt Lloyd, Push Water, Joey McGee, Joe Teichman and Brooke Graham.

The Crescent Classic, a philanthropy event by the Gamma Phi Beta sorority at Texas A&M, is tonight at Wolf Pen Creek Amphitheater. The Josh Abbott Band was scheduled to headline, but the band canceled after performing at the Route 91 Harvest Festival in Las Vegas on Sunday, hours before the shootings that killed 59 people. The band issued a statement and apologized for "any inconvenience" on Thursday. Read more about that here.
The event will go on with performances by Koe Wetzel, Clayton Gardner and Wynn Williams. For more information, go to the event page here.
